About Nelson Ebong

Nelson Ebong, also known among his close family and friends’ cycles as Panyako (coined from two military words ‘pioneer’ and ‘Corp’) first graduated from Makerere University Kampala in Uganda with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and also studied mass communication here. He served as a director of a school he founded and leased out, gained broad experience as a managing director in a company he founded, a General manager in two companies in Tanzania and a logistics coordinator for East, Central and South Africa in another, roles that involved travels and experience enriching interactions with multinational businesses and individuals, providing him with quality exposures which are reflected in the quality articulations in his writings.

His broad management experience and travels in several countries, his building of companies from scratch, his successes and failures in more than one field coupled with a very studious and adventurous nature makes his works a must read for a person interested in experience based knowledge for self-improvement and business development.

Nelson Ebong was raised in Uganda during the war ravaging periods from the 1970s through to the earlier 1990s. His educative contents find basis in the experiences he went through, those he observed bring his contemporaries and seniors down and the challenges they succumbed to or managed to beat and succeed in achieving their goals. In essence, his educative and motivational works of art are inspired by the real life experiences of a young orphan who told himself while in elementary school that he would reach Makerere University, one of Africa’s most prestigious universities that groomed men like Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere, Dr Apollo Milton Obote among others; and he did reach and complete his bachelor’s degree there, it was possible for him to successfully navigate through the many problems that the African child and especially orphans face especially in poor and war torn environments.

What drives Nelson Ebong is the strong desire to make sure whoever desires to succeed in doing anything profitable should Never Give Up in the face of any problem because if we put our hearts to the solving of anything problem, we can succeed.
